Early Fall Walk

Sunday the Hus, kids and I went for a family walk. I brought the camera so I could share some of the things we saw...

First, my very own Palm tree, made for me by my husband. He thinks if he makes it appear tropical, I will stop trying to convince him we need to move to a warmer climate.

Second, an outdoor sculpture. Once again made by my husband. He thinks that if he brings art and culture to me, we won't have to move to a place that has such things.

The kids got a kick out of these deer tracks. Hus got to thinking about hunting season.

These are a much bluer color in person. They are my favorite wild flower, but they do have pickers.

There's the fam waiting up for me at the end of our road. I was taking photos, not getting winded or anything!

Is that a spaceship or just the shiny new metal roof Hus put on our house? I really would have preferred a colored metal roof that would not have been so shiny. Hus told me not to worry because someday the roof would look like that of the old barn in the photo above! UGH!

lol @ hubby's comment about your roof! That sounds like something Andy would say :-) But really...we had a shiny metal roof on our house when I was a kid (well, it's still there, actually) and while it does stay silver it kind of oxidizes and isn't shiny shiny after a year or so...

You live in a beautiful place.

I actually kinda like the rustic look of the barn roof. Always have liked that.

And warmer climates have their downfalls as well, hon. Like hurricanes. Hurricanes suck.

The end.

Your land is beautiful! I especially love fall with all the leaves changing. I'd love to live in an area like that but I absolutely HATE commuting and refuse to do it. Mabey one day I'll have a picturesce weekend home in the country, a girl can dream can't she? Becky
