LOL! There are two very unique houses near my MIL's that look like piled up children's blocks, and they're painted in various shades of blue and purple. They're on the corner of a main road, so whenever I need to give directions I can just say, "you know those crazy blue and purple houses? Turn there." I wouldn't want to live there, but I'm glad someone does!
But it's better than neon green, fluorescent pink or bright orange... all of which I've seen inhabit some garages in neighbourhoods not too far from mine.

I love people who think outside the box.

This totally reminds me of a purple-ish house we used to pass as I took Christopher to daycare as a toddler. We called it the 'Barney house'. :)

Dude, Prince lives in your neighborhood??? Why didn't you say so earlier??!
I think I would like it better if they used something other than white for the trim.
The purple garage and gazebo-thing really complete the look! I think it's really pretty--not tacky like you'd think a purple house would be :-)
OK how cute is this? Purple is my favorite color and now I am wondering when do I move in? he he
That house would match my purple kitchen! Love it!
Thanks for stopping by my blog :) It's nice to "meet" you!
Whoa. That is a whole lotta purple. Makes feel less conspicuous having the Yellow House.
Yup, that's quite purple.

Easter egg colors look great in snow. I've seen lots of robin's egg blues, mint green, but very few lilacs. It's pretty cool.
