It's been 5 months since I hired the private investigator to find my biological family and still nothing. The last email I received was to tell me not to worry, to give it 6-9 months. So I guess I'll really start to worry next month.
So for now I will continue my usual obsessing about who I am and where I might have come from.
Does anyone remember any meteor showers occurring in 1968? UFO sightings?
If I am really an alien, where are my superpowers?

I hope it turns out wonderful. My brother in law connected with his biological mom. It has been absolutely great for everyone. The women never had any other kids. She was so grateful to finally meet him and to meet her grandkids.
...this is bad. But, she also has some $$ which she showers on the grandkids. Very nice bonus.

My boss had a private investigator find his birth mother, his adopted parents had long since passed away. It took a year for the investigators to locate her and then when he got the info, he did not know if he wanted to contact her, not wanting to face rejection. I told him that I thought that he should, because I felt that there were probably some circumstances as to why she gave him up for adoption. I was right, they have the greatest relationship now, it is very touching! Good luck in your quest!
