My Big Summer Hair

Help!

I've tried several hair products to straighten my hair and keep it straight through any type of weather. I'll get it pretty smooth, only have it change back to this if there is any humidity in the air.
Got any suggestions?

I have always had curly hair..not as curly as yours...but instead of ironing my hair everyday. I started using Herbal Essences dangerously straight hair... called pin straight. I have used it for a while now...I have no curls if I use it regularly and blow dry it...no ironing envolved. Might help you some at least a try. I swear by it :-))

Em commented that my eyes look tired and droopy in these photos. I told her I am old and droopy all the time.
Also, I am not wearing all the eye make-up I usually do because these photos were taken after swimming.

No because I have exactly the same hair. I spend an hour getting it fixed and then go out and poof instant friz. I have yet to find a product that really works. It either makes it too greasy looking or just flat with frizzies.

Good luck, let me know if you do find any

As a person with stick straight hair, I'd say leave the curls.

I always wanted curls. My hair is thin and stick straight, and no cute hairstyles ever work.

A lot of women would pay a fortune to have such fine curls. You could try a different style if it's really driving you nuts. How about shorter? Or gathered up in a pony tail behind with lots of little tendrils around your face? I don't know much about hair, but have always thought curly hair very attractive...

I vote with the "rock the curls" group. Other than that, I have to say you ARE good friends with a fairly accomplished hairdresser who may have something in her bag of tricks to straighten you out. Pun intended! I crack me up!

No suggestions, but I love those pictures.

Wait...I do have a suggestion. Perhaps a Disco Stick?

Very late with my 2cents here... I'm feeling your pain, Heidi. I don't know if you remember my hair, but it is about 3 times bigger than yours! I have recently had luck with Fructis (sp?) gel and... a tight bun (in other words, I gave up).

For those of you who are saying "rock the curls," I wish you could live for just one day with hair like ours. Curls + humidity (or in my case, + nothing) = pure FRIZZ. It isn't a style, it is a curse! :D
